Professional Experience:

With a successful 32-year tenure as a local small business owner, I understand the challenges and opportunities facing the local economy. My entrepreneurial spirit has not only contributed to my business’s longevity but has also allowed me to foster strong connections within the community.

Other Public Service/Public Service/Business /Other:

My passion for community service is evident in my 14-year role as the Dearborn County Fair Board President. Under my guidance, the fair not only emerged from financial difficulties but thrived to the point where it could sustain itself without relying on donations or external funds for a 2 year period. A prime example was during Covid when those funds were needed. My strategic vision and managerial acumen played a pivotal role in transforming the fair into a self-sufficient and thriving community event. Furthermore, my commitment to public service extended to my role as the St. Leon Sewer Board President during its formative stages. I worked tirelessly to address customer concerns and ensure that issues were resolved in an orderly and efficient manner. My leadership helped build a foundation for reliable and responsive public services.

Awards/Achievements:

32 year NAPA Autocare Service Center, Diamond Award for outstanding performance from Hisun USA

Why are you the best candidate for the office you are seeking?

I think we need new ideas and a fresh look to county Government. I also believe if you want change you should make change. I want Dearborn County to be a place my grandchildren can and will want to live.

What will be your top priorities if elected/re-elected?

To make actions of the county more transparent to the community. I want to make meetings more accessible to the average person in Dearborn County. Meetings are held during the day when people work. I feel they should be when the residents can attend without having to take off work.
