I am a life-long resident of Dearborn County where I reside with my husband Tony. I have two children and 5 grandchildren. I attended Southeastern Career Center for Business Administration. I am seeking election for Dearborn County Auditor. Having 22 years of experience in various roles within Dearborn County Government, I understand the importance of accuracy and accountability. My commitment is to be honest, responsible, transparent, and serve the community.
I started my government career in 2004 in the Clerk’s office working on elections and performing various other duties within the office. In 2007, I transferred to the Treasurer’s office where I collected property taxes, reconciled bank accounts, prepared mobile home permits, executed all the procedures for tax sale and other various duties. I worked my way up to Office Manager. In 2015, I then transferred into the Auditor’s office, where I currently hold the title of Office Manager/Settlement Director. I have taken great pride and detail in processing legal descriptions for property transfers, helping property owners apply for various deductions/exemptions in which they can qualify for, handling various duties pertaining to tax sale properties, drafting various letters and overseeing the settlement process of taxes collected for the State.
I am now seeking election for the position of Dearborn County Auditor. My years of experience over the will help me maintain accurate financial records, provide transparency, and provide customer service efficiently and effectively for everyone. I want to continue growth, build relationships and serve the people of Dearborn County.
