My name is Mistee Schubert, and I am running for Dearborn County Recorder.
I was born in Dearborn County and returned home in 1999 to raise my family. I currently serve as the 2nd Deputy Recorder and have worked in the Recorder’s Office for more than 18 years. During that time, I have had the opportunity to work with and learn from several Recorders. I take the responsibility of preserving our county records seriously and would be honored to continue that work as Recorder.
My involvement in our community hasn’t stopped at the end of the workday. For many years, I also worked as a monitor at the Lawrenceburg Community Center, where I spent time with local youth and helped with after-school programs.
My husband, Jeff, and I have been married for 35 years and live in Greendale with our spoiled dog, Rocky. We have three children and four grandchildren, and spending time with my family is one of my greatest joys. I also enjoy traveling, gardening, kayaking, floating, riding our ATV, and just being outdoors.
I have truly enjoyed serving our community over the years, and I am excited for the opportunity to continue that service as a candidate for Dearborn County Recorder.
